Greetings From Busselton W.A.

Just finished running in my Super Tenere, and thought I would join up.

I bought the S10 after upgrading from a Tenere 660.

This looks like a lively group.

I have a couple of questions, so I will now go and read the FAQs and search some threads.

CHeers.

Thanks for the Welcome...

This is one of literally hundreds of tracks that run through a vast area of bush land and forest about 20 kms from where I live.

Mighty fine looking spot. I checked out your area ..... it appears to be a very beautiful and isolated area. I'd love to make it over there one day, but I'm probably too old, and definitely too poor, to get there. I'd love to see some pics from one of your rides. R

Thanks for all the welcoming messages.

Where would you like me to post the Pics Rem ? Is there a protocol, or just into the Gallery ?

At the bottom of the blank white screen that you use for posting, there is a link that says "Attachments and other options". Click on that and you'll get a "Choose File" option. YOu can select your pictures one at a time. There is some kind of limit, depending on quality and quantity. I usually get my fingers whacked for too much, but might be my computer. Good luck. Give it a shot. R. ::008::

I have a couple of big rides planned...

The first in November, but it will not be on a Tenere. I have ordered a new Indian Chief and I will be riding it from Melbourne, across Australia and back home.

The next largish ride is a 4 day trip across some gravel roads heading in land, on the Tenere. I will be looking for tyre advice before I tackle that one :)

The Tenere is now my daily transport and gets a fair bit of use. I've just bolted on the Yamaha panniers (better quality than the 660 boxes) and am now looking for an after market pipe :)

Cheers.

Welcome aboard Tim. ::003::

Flickr now offers a free terabyte of photo storage. Just upload your pics there, then post them here using the image tool
. That way there's no limit on quantity or quality.

THats a great Idea Twinrider.

I like the idea of not loosing the quality. I shoot with the Camera Equivalent of a Tenere. Leica, built like a tank and goes anywhere :) So its always good to avoid the loss of sharpness etc.

I made a post in "Forum Stuff" > "Try It Out" section of this forum.
It shows step by step how to post pics in your post.

I look forward to your ride report with quality pics!
