galley and database

OCD suxs..........How do I get the galley and database fourms to show no new posts? I read the site about 2 a day and posts that I dont care to read I click the "mark read" button so all the fourms are darker before I log off. Well I can seem to get all of them dark as the formentioned forums are stillbright yellow.

Any help so I can sleep at night, thanks!

Well .. I was thinking about starting a thread called "Post here when you're all caught up" .. then we'd never get ahead! ... If I go a few days without checking in, I get 2 or 3 (or 7) pages of unread topics, more when I look at those I've replied to. Thankfully I get a train-ride commute to work so I can keep current.

I'm definitely not a power user on forums, so I can't really help with supressing threads you're not interested in.

I run a site in West TN, all the posts are looked at and responded to I just cant believe that no one knows. Maybe I will email the webmaster.

Patrick it is probably a setting on your browser if you have it set to delete cookies, and history when you close your browser well it clears those cookies that leave a mark so to speak. I can't stand to see you suffer anymore

I'm not following what you are talking about.

I simply go to the "unread posts since last visit" and scour through them until I wanna read one.

I pass many before I read one.

Again...I'm not sure I know what you want to accomplish here.
