Just a quick introduction. I've had the bike for a couple weeks now and the farkling is progressing nicely with the new Super T. Other than a skid plate (arrived damaged), heated grips (on the way), a 6" LED, and maybe some bark-busters or equiv., I think I'm set. Still only 198 miles. I can't wait to hit the 600 mark so I can stop babying it. Pretty hard to keep under 3900 rpms, not that I'm making that a hard and fast limit, but trying to keep it close. Coming home from my parents yesterday I got behind some Goldwings and had to back off after a mile since they were cruising at about 100 so a little too high in the rpms for now. So awesome that I can do that kind of speed now with ease and no real wind issues. I'm coming off of a KLR, so it's a really big deal for me and it's been 10 years since I sold my last road bike (Spring ST). Even set the cruise for a few seconds while I adjusted my right hand glove.

On with pics... Sorry they're so poor. By the time I was done yard work today it was pretty cloudy and dark here so only time for a quick 15 minute ride.

Looks great! Which crash bars have you installed? SW Motec?
These are the Altrider crash bars. I liked the way they attached to the frame, and hope to get the piece that they have in development that attaches up under the light when it become available.

The remark from your post I quoted bellow made me laugh...

We're never set when it comes to farkles...;D
As far as my wife is concerned, yes I'm done... Outside of that.. I'm sure something else will be coming up in a couple of months. Screen extender and aux power, maybe another GPS, oh and a tank bag, and.... I see your point.

I got a vstream windshield for Christmas. It is awsome. It's the medium height light tint. I'm 6' 1" with a 32" inseam on the low setting. I have ridden a little over 100 miles since Christmas. It made a huge difference.

Welcome!

My wife's step-mother is from Delaware and she's a bit of a cold fish. My father-in-law used to say there were 3 counties in Delaware - Sussex, Essex and Nosex :D

Great looking bike! I have the same one.

What type of panniers do you have? and is that a tool box I see there too?

I didn't know Altrider had a new crash bar in testing. Is it a new model or just an extension to put lights on that would connect from side to side in the front?
