fan motor......electrical?

well my fan went out, could have been the high water or something else.......


got a new fan, installed it, still no fan when the engine gets hot (175 F), so I check it for voltage, which is way hard, small area hard to access, fuse is good, checked it twice. Anyone have a t-stat go out? looked at the manual, did not pull it out to check ohms but at 180 F it was out of spec. waited for it to cool but the low side was at 32 F, no real way to check with out pulling it.


any bright ideas?

any experience?

The fan starts at 221 F and off at 212 F.

troubleshooting 101: got to know what you are suppose to have in order to look for it.


never found it in my book (hard copy), looked for my cd-rom and spilled my drink on my pc last night. Fan is fixed, off to repair the HP Pavilion.
