Just curious if everyone else's bike has a loud thrashing sound on their final drive when the bike is in first gear while on the center stand (or anything that unloads the bikes weight from the rear tire for that matter).

If it's nothing to be worried about, great, but just want to make sure

Nothing to worried about - All shaft drive bikes do this under no-load conditions.

Normal, and the wheel will turn a bit when the bike is first started.

K, how do you delete posts. I could not resist my earlier post but it does seem we notice the smallest things then run ot he computer to check them out and wildfire is created.

Sorry my post should have read, good observation but yes on the center stand and with no load this would seems to make sense that there may be clunking, however if you notice this same problem while riding or with the wheels on the ground look deeper into the problem.

It's all good. I love free entertainment and got a good laugh.
