In case many of you have never heard of the fine things we have here in the Pacific NorthweT, there are some routes out there that cross the whole state from one end to the other and are called either WA / OR Back Country Discovery Routes. I will get more information as time goes for us to see and dream of riding!!!

Here is a link for Washington

Jeff,

That would be a Great trip! Maybe someday....

I should add that this would be once I get a lot better riding off-road! ;-)

Bill I would try, this area is simply amazing!!! I would be willing to ride some of them with you. Most of the roads this route takes you on, novice off-road riders will do alright on this. It is mostly gravel roads, some two tracks w/gravel. I think they had in mind the larger bikes such as the Super 10.

There is also the lengthier one in Oregon which is over 800 miles. Then there is always the Trans America trail from Tennessee to Oregon, most of which is dirt and gravel roads.

Jeff,

OK I will put this in the maybe someday file! I used to do some off-roaring with my cousin in MD. I have enough experience to know that I am not real good at it! My couz had XR and XL650s so I am kinda familiar with larger bikes in the dirt. But I have no illusions on my prowess so it will be easy stuff for me.
