Got the day off, so off I went. Rode Golden Gate Canyon Rd, Peak-to-Peak to Estes Park, Trail Ridge to Grand lake and Winter Park and then over Berthoud Pass back to Denver. What a beautiful day to put in 300 miles. Saw another S10 and chased it down to the cafe on Trail Ridge and met and spoke to SisuTen. We waxed poetic of the S10 and then parted ways, he was getting coffee and I had to keep rolling to make it back home at a reasonable time. What an awesome bike, it handled the mountains like a champ. Here are a few Trail Ridge pics

You have one of the best places on earth to ride!
It had been 10 years since I had been on Trail Ridge Rd. The condition of the road is outstanding, no frost heaves or pot holes, but the traffic is a bit heavy.

It was great to meet you! If you hadn't been on that road in a while, you lucked out. From about mid point on up Trail Ridge was repaved (not chip seal) and the road is like butter all the way to the top.

I'm putting miles on the bike now and it continues to smooth out and get better, daily. This type of ride is perfect for it. I decided to use the dreaded "T' mode and found it to be very relaxing. I will undoubtably be in this mode when riding with my wife.

Set 'em up, Rod. I have all the time in the world, now.

Last year was an absolute zoo when they were repaving Trail Ridge. I used to ride up the Old Fall River Road and then down the paved road and dreaded it so much going down.

Paul, still staying fairly close to home till Nancy is more on her feet. We "were" supposed to go to "Kool Nites" in Deadwood SD this weekend, but canceled out because she is just not ready for that level of activity. She also going to miss CoSTOC in two weeks in Manitou Springs.

I really like the looks of the E21's on the S10. I'm using those, too.

I also like the look of the Givi's, think that's the way I'm going to go.
Would love to see an image of the E21's from the back of the ST on centerstand.
Would like to know how wide in inches.

Sounds good to me. I guess just post rides one is willing to have company on the Regions forum, and who ever can make it replies.

I kept these off my Dakar and bought the removable Givi rack. They won't go around the world but with a duffle, I can go for multiple days, which is all I need. They're light, small and inexpensive so I don't worry about them. If some one wants to steal stuff they're going to no matter what cases I have.
