Hi all,

I was wondering if someone has had this problem I’m having now.

My cruise control stopped working without reason, so I read up on it and decided to go into the diagnostic mode first to see if any thing pops up. I think I’ve found the issue but I’m not sure how to solve it….

When checking all the diagnostic codes and trying the ones I could all seems fine.
Cruise control switch works, res- an res+ work, cruise control switch works, brake pedal and lever work as does the clutch lever.
ABS and speed sensors seem fine, no codes or waring lights.

Then I came to diag code 82 (Cruise control cancel circuit) and here something is off I think.
Here you can check all the parameters for cancelling cruise control (see picture)
It sGould start at “OFF” but stays stuck on “ON” which means the cruise control thinks one of them is activated and that would mean the ECU won‘t engage the cruise control. This is weird as all off them work when checked individually……

Is there anyone out there who has had this same problem and is there a way to reset it or…..?

Thanks for any help!

Btw, apart from the non functioning CC the bike runs fine, no issues at all.

My 2015 cruise control would work (prior to the install of the TSB) only if you started the bike, NEVER touched/used the front brake, turned on the cruise control, and engaged cruise via the left handlebar switch pod. The cruise would deactivate as soon as the front brake lever was used and would not activate/work until the bike was re-started. The recalled micro switch and harness cured the problem.
