They look similar to SW-motech bars I have on my 2011, but looking at the bar that goes to the front of the engine not as strong. Things to find out - can you take the left electrics panel and the right radiator panel off with the bars on. With my bars I have to remove the right hand bars. This impacts servicing as you need to remove the panels to lift the tank.

My bars have saved the plastics on two low speed drops and are good mount points for camera and auxilliary lights.

One of my work colleagues has just fitted a set to his GS. He was impressed with the quality of them and the accuracy of the mounting holes, everything fitted just so and there were enough washers etc. Not the best paint finish on them but you could always get them powdercoated (his were silver and not black) if this bothered you. Good value for money.

Hi all,
I have just this week fitted the SW Motech crash bars to mine (£143.00 from Bykebitz). They were very easy to fit and all the bolts washers etc came with them. I can remove the side panels with them in place. They seem to be well made and well finished. I would recommend them. I also got the SW Motech sat nav bracket (£49.00 from Bykebitz). This also was very easy to fit and came with all the bolts washers etc. Wired the sat nav to the Aux light plug behind the R/H panel (the three pin one). Brown wire is switched via the ignition, black is earth. This was very easy to do. The sat nav bracket looks like it was made to be there. Which it is. Just need to get out and ride now.

Cheers Glenn.
