Considering a trip in this region

Looking for some travel plan ideas in the following States, I would be driving down from Calgary and have 12 - 14 days: Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Oregon - thanks

Just did beartooth pass and chief joseph highway this summer. Not to be missed. Lolo pass is very nice too.

I would swing down through Colorado and Utah unless you've already been there.

Ride the Oregon coast. Not challenging but the scenery is well worth the time.

Looking at setting up a trip along the Oregon coast, my concerns is lodging including camping, traffic, is it stupid? How far south would be recommended before heading north again and what rout would be recommended on the return?

No reason to. The entire coast of CA is gorgeous. I read somewhere that the US 101 between San Simion to Carmel was voted a #1 stretch. I've never seen an ugly picture of the CA coast though.
