I installed lowering links on my 2013 Super Tenere. But I failed to measure the stock distance from the bottom of the tire to the floor while on the center stand. Can someone measure and let me know the original distance. I need to shorten my center stand. Thanks for the help.

I would ride it a little bit before cutting the center stand down. I put a set of lowering links on my S10 right after I bought it. I really liked the difference in seat height, but I didn't like the way it changed the handling. It really changed the way it handled going into a turn. It fell into the curve a lot faster than I liked, sort of like I was losing control. I ran it 100 miles and took the links back off. Some riders like them, but they weren't for me.

Question: did you lower the front forks as well?

You could probably put a board under the rear tire to raise it up a little to make it easier to put on centerstand.
I've seen that suggestion elsewhere and it seems to work. Just throw a short piece of 2x4 or 2x6 in your pannier, then pull it out and put it on the ground in front of the rear tire and drive up on it. You'd preserve the original center stand at virtually no cost and be able to return the bike to normal height in the future if you want to (perhaps to sell it).
