Installed my Cee B. windshield and it is tall. I am 6'4" with only a 32" inseam so very 'long in the flank'. The website says 26" for riders 6'3" and taller, fyi.

Very well made, better than stock. Very easy to install obviously and able to put it in the low position with the screws so less wind from underneath than the stock screen in its high position I expect.

I have not ridden it yet. It is very tall sitting on the seat. Reminds me of my HD Road King windscreen and utterly dwarfs the original S10 screen.

Looking straight ahead I look over the top of the screen but I bet my gaze will be through it when riding.

Not the 'barn door' I was worried about as the mirrors on the S10 come up pretty high. I need a side view shot as there seems to be a bit of a concave lip from front to back at the top 1/5 of the screen that some others were talking about somewhere in the past here.

Will ride tomorrow and report back. Its not the wind gust that bothers me at 80mph but the noise.

Also, I had complained here somewhere that they shipped this screen on the day their wind wings became listed on their website. I had requested to let me know if/when they would be available in their 'comments' section when I ordered three days before. They called me today 10 days later and left a message to call them.

I paid $157.00 total, no tax or shipping 10 days ago.

how is it working out for you?
Well. Expect to switch back to stock when it hits upper 80's in a few weeks because it slips the wind almost too well. No problems and well made.

Re: Cee Bailey 26" Windscreen Pictures

That shield looks good.

I have a Cee Baileys shield on another bike I have. They make great solutions to wind protection and the shields hold up. Just note that they use aircraft plexiglas and it's vulnerable to scratches so be very careful what cleaner you use and cloth you use to clean it. Other shields I have are lexan from National Cycle and they have a scratch guard coating on the shield. That not to say it won't ever scratch just helps block those small spider web looking swirl marks.

Thanks.

"Plexus" cleaner is amazing at cleaning and protecting. Especially made for aircraft grade plexiglas and also works great for headlights on cycle and car as well.

Just make sure you use a micro clotch or 100% cotton towel with Plexsus.

Ok, I'm gonna throw my two cents in here.
Any shield that kills all the wind will also kill the wind to the face shield. Rain will still hit the face shield and be very hard too clear.
I would be more inclined to have a shield the let me clear my face shield from rain drops. jmho

For the 1% of the time I get caught in the rain, I just straighten up a bit to clear the rain off my shield with the wind (over the screen) every few minutes when necessary. Though infrequent, it becomes second nature as there is much less rain on the shield behind a good coverage screen, especially if you are behind a rain spewing cage or 18 wheeler. The other 99% of the time a wind killing shield is a no brainer particularly when its colder.

For me shields are about wind management and long distance rides. You'll never stay dry in the rain unless you take your car.

Wow and I t'vhought my 20" Parabellum was a barn door. I've gone back to the stock screen mounted on Madstad brackets. Less turbulence and adjustability is the way to go in my humble opinion. I'll get off my ::009::

This is the first thing I've seen as tall as my converted Burgman 400 shield, which has been great. If/when the Burgman shield dies, I know what to look for.
Thanks

At 80+ you can notice the top lip vibrate a bit but then everthing is vibrating a bit over 80. Very stable. The windwings would be more apt to wobble or fly off it seems. With the stock screen at 80+ and my design helmet, just turning my head was in need of attention because of the change in wind drag causing my neck to wobble but not with the Cee Bailey. Bottom line for me however is the decreased noise above all else.

Likewise with my 24" screen. You can see a little bouncing but it's wonderfully smooth air behind it.

I also have ditched my Parabellum because of too much turbulence. I'm seriously considering getting a 20" CalSci windshield. I want more protection than stock but not a barn door. However, the last thing I want to do is waste another $200. ::010::

To be clear, is the "barn door" problem people mention with looks or aerodynamics?

I would say that it refers more to looks but if a large screen is designed poorly it can cause turbulence. At 6'4" tall, I ordered the big Parabellum screen. It was like sitting in a pocket of calm quiet air with a midget dancing on my helmet. Right now, I'm back to the stock screen with the Yamaha wind deflectors. I would much rather get hit with clean air than have protection at the expense of turbulence.

calsci might be the choice if you want some air in the cockpit..

but anyone using calsci notices the high pitch rushing of air thru the triangle??

This may sound funny....try switching your helmet with a buddy for the turbulence problem. I had a similar problem with a shield. I have 4 helmets. So one day for whatever reason I was wearing my very expensive Shoe X-11 on a bike I usually wear my dual sport Shoei Hornet. Well there was all kinds of turbulence and I couldn't believe it. A more aero design helmet gave me turbulence. If I would have not done this I would have never would have believed a helmet could cause turbulence behind a shield.
