I'm looking for a case that is decent and water resistant for my iphone 4. i would like to be able to make it ram mount so I can see the screen on the phone. I would also like the case to be big enough to fit my phone while it is in its otterbox case and to be able to charge it as well. i was looking at the pelican icase as a possibility.

I don't know if it meets all of your requirements but I've had two Lifeproof cases for my iPhone and couldn't be happier. The case has saved my phone more times than I can count. Waterproof, extremely durable, and not huge or bulky like the Otterbox.

thank you all for your replies. i currently have the otterbox ans wasn't looking to get into another case, but the life proof case and the other case mentioned certainly look like decent cases that can be mounted on the bike.

I've been running one of these for the last year. Works great. iPhone 3GS in an Otterbox Defender (great case). Plenty of room to charge as you go. Orients horizontal, or vertical. Cheap.

As of last week I upgraded to an iPhone 5C. I have a new case for it on order (Survivor Heavy Duty), so I haven't tried it in the mount yet, but it should fit fine. Sorry, but this is the only pic I have of my mount installed. It was for showing a bud a charging cord I found, should work perfect:

I got my dad a Lifeproof case for his iPhone. They claim it's everything-proof, but I can't back that up with real world experience.

I can - my phone has been through hell-and-back and while I did destroy a case, it saved the phone - even after a year of pretty steady abuse. I replaced it with another Lifeproof immediately - phone didn't have a scratch on it...
