I borrowed a pair of vacuum gages and have my homemade manometer all setup to try. Now I need to figure out what goodies I need to support this effort.

I read that the right port is just covered with a cap, but I will need a new cap? What size?

The left seems to need a Tee and some extra hose? What length/diameter?

I plan on stopping at the auto parts store on the way home and attempting this sync tonight.

Thanks,
ac

I changed the right cap for a 1/8 inch cap. Also, I used 1/8 fuel line(blue), but you can use vacuum line for wipers on a car. Buy a foot of it, but you won't need that much..
Just remover the OEM line and save it. It cost about 12 bucks. Don't ask me how I know this. ::025::
I got a 1/8 tee with one of the legs 3/16.

That should be everything you need for the bike side.

Ok, so let's sum this up:

1 1/8" cap
Some 1/8" hose
1/8 x 1/8 x 3/16 Tee

Got it.

Yep, the 1/8x1/8x3/16 is a good fit for my Harmonizer hose. You made need a different size if your not using that large of a hose.

Good call. I'll bring my gauge to make sure I get the right size.

My local autoparts store didn't have 1/8" hose, so I picked up some 5/32". It was close, but not quite ideal I think.

Either way, hooked up the Tee and the 2 gauges and started "sync-ing".

Right off the bat both were pretty darn even. I had to keep the rpms around 3500 to get the gauges to calm down enough to get a reading.

I checked the stock settings. It appeared the right was pretty much "closed" all the way in. The left was open ~1/8 turn.

I brought both out an additional 3/4 turn and they pretty much maintained sync.

Test ride tomorrow.

Good job.. If you have a dealer you are friends with, they carry 1/8 fuel line. Mine has it and they bought it from Motion Pro.
