Kinda dead in this section. No one riding? It seems like NC, SC TN and GA would be great places for these bikes. Unfortunately I'm in central FL so unless you like sand, and more sand, there isn't a lot of places to ride. Howevere I have found a few.

Kinda the same here. I know that there are about a dozen Teneres with 30 miles of me. I haven't seen one in the wild in years. And I like you, have a 12 month riding season. I don't ride far, but I ride a lot.

I'm in Atlanta which is an hour from anywhere worth riding, but as you said there are a lot of places worth riding around here, which is why I got the S10. Comfy to get there, capable once I'm there, wherever "there" is. I am very much the limiting factor on all roads.

My parents live on Amelia Island which would be great to ride to except their community is prejudiced against motorcycles and has banned them which is un-American and disappointing in equal measure. They don't ride so it wasn't on their list of things to check when they moved in.

Although I’m in Central Florida, I retire in less than 2 years and plan to head to TN. Hopefully there will be much better riding there.

I think a lot of members view this subforum as a place where you can try and locate other S10 riders nearby. Once you post in it looking for a fellow rider and realize that there aren't a huge number of S10 owners out there, and they're rarely close enough to meet up, you move on to posting in other forums, even when you're posting something that's location specific.

I've lived in NC for about 16 years, and have been riding my Super Tenere since 2014. I ride year round, and have been all over NC (and 32 other states), and in all that time if memory serves correctly, I've seen one other S10 in North Carolina. That was when I was passing through Charlotte on my way back from out west. I know there are more of them, since I see them posting on the other forums, but I think we're pretty thinly distributed around the state.

I'm sure that there were more, but I can only recall seeing three other Super Teneres during all the miles I've logged on mine. One was the aforementioned Charlotte sighting, one was while I was getting gas before getting on the Kancamagus Highway in New Hampshire, and one was at the top of Pikes Peak in Colorado. That one surprised me so much that I took a photo of my bike beside that one, just to prove that other S10s existed in the wild.
