hi every body I have a s10 2010 with just short of 9,000 miles on the clock was thinking of changing the cct for a manual one.fron what I understand it is the same as a Yamaha 2009 onwards r1 tensioner.i can pick one of these up cheap hear in the uk a APE one I know the graves one is better but its over twice the price and I will be happy with the ape one.i am sure I have seen a post on here where someone has changes theres by removing the clutch cover and wedging a piece of wood behind the camchain guide to stop the camchain sliping, which is probably the route I would take.does anyone know where I can find this post.this is an amazing bike and I really like it.cheers tony.

Greetings from Malta and welcome to the forum.

Yes, there are many reports of failed CCT on the S10. But not after 9,000 miles! Enjoy the CCT for some more thousand miles before you replace it. You may wish to search this forum.
