Evening all, I am just about to order my Sidi Adventure boots and I think I read somewhere they come up small size wise, I am normally a UK 9 so not sure if should order the next size up which is a 9.5 or just stick with the 9.

Any ideas? Can't try them on as no local stores have them.

They do run on the small end. I have 3 sets of Sidi boots and I had to get them all a half size larger to fit.
They are a narrow boot too. Make sure where ever your buying them from will do an exchange or return if they don't fit.

I just tried a pair of Sidi adventure rains on today. I normally wear a 9-9.5. So I tried on a 9.5 first and no way! Next tried the 10's and fit just right. Nice boot!

I90 motosports. 365.00. If you ask they will knock off the tax which makes it the same as the internet price. These of coarse are not the new gortex ones.

My $0.02 is that Sidi's run slightly smaller than advertised. With Sidi's sizing charts, I should be able to wear a 45 Euro consistently, but I tend to order 46's unless I can try the 45's ahead of time because sometimes the 45 is a little tight.

No, I don't have the Adventures. Disco's for the street, Crossfire's for the dirt, and another pair of the on road touring boot when I want to feel 'stylish'.

I already replied to a PM from MortiisMachine, but thought I'd post up a copy here...

I usually wear a U.S. 9.5 which is a UK 9 or a EUR 43. That is what I tried on in the store while over in Germany last fall and they fit absolutely perfect. I'll say that I have a very normal feet in shape and size. Even in ski boots, where everyone else needs their boots blown out in one spot or another, mine always fit perfect. Unless one has an exceptionally tall instep or a very wide foot or extra large calf, I don't see how the boots could fit tighter than the same size in any other boot or shoe. Obviously trying on is best with the thickness of sock you'll normally wear when riding, but I couldn't be happier with the fit of mine. I've only managed 5 or 6 rides with mine since I bought them as winter hit, but since they are leather, I imagine that, if they are a bit snug, they might stretch a small amount as they break in like all other leather boots I've owned. but since these fit just right, I don't think my foot will make them stretch much at all. As a side note, this is my first pair of Sidi, so can't compare them to how past Sidi boots run. All I know is I can't remember the last time I bought a shoe or boot size other than 9.5 US and these 9.5 fit me perfect.

That's the long way of saying I found them very size true unless you have exceptionally wide feet or a tall instep.

I'd go a a half size up. I bought 41 only on the basis that they don't do 39/40. The 41's are a close fit.
They were at the show again today .... £220.00.

I am lucky enough to have two pairs of Sidi's, (I bought a second pair that had been used twice by someone on ADV Rider who bought too small)

As my first pair rolled past 25,000 miles they were looking pretty beat up and the soles were worn from traffic and walking. I found a place to do resoling in California and the workmanship and customer service was first class.

When my boots were received they called to suggest that I use a different Sidi sole if I wanted to extend the next set's sole life. After we discussed howI use the boots as a winter commuter on wet, greasy roads i was told I was better to stick with a softer compound (no difference in price by the way)

When my boots came back I was expecting them to look like shoes do that you have resoled. You know new soles but everything else now looks older and is still scuffed and dirty.

The leather was all treated and they looked brand new and were beautifully cleaned and treated. The sole installation looked just the same as my other pair that I had just started to wear while these were in for service.

Here is the link

So when you wear your Sidi's down and beat them up you can bring them back to life for about $100.00
