Broken OEM Top Case Mount

I have done a search on this but mine seems like a different kind of break.
So was there a recall on these or not, and is there an aftermarket one available?
I was very lucky I was on a dirt track only going about 30kph at the time, so the box and contents all survived

that is the upgraded version. Telltale is the metal strap. My guess is that you "exceeded design specifications". too much weight, too rough of terrain, etc. Unfortunate, but there isn't anything more durable for the stock case.

Its never overloaded the most weight would be a helmet, the bike has spent 50% of its life on dirt roads, it did have a bit of movement in the box when it was mounted.
My concern is if it had come off on the highway in traffic

Yeah, the problem isn't necessarily the weight in the case but the dynamic loading due to bumps. I have a piece of foam that loads the box so it can't bounce on the latch.
