It's less than 200 miles from Lodi. Sonora Pass to get there. I'm thinking I might try a camping trip since I have Tuesday off as well. If I can figure out how to pack without hard bags... or a trailer. ::025:: That's neither here nor there. Lunch in Bridgeport on Sunday.
Tioga to come home? Sonora? Monitor/Carson or Ebbetts?

Like the Bridgeport area and 108 is a good ride. Where are you thinking of camping?

Wow, ok, hmmm.
For folks coming from the Sac area, Sutter Hill Chevron still cuts the corner off of coming all the way down 99 to catch 49 south. Kickstands up (ksu) by 8:15-8-30? Coffee at 8:00.
Tim, where to stop? Dunno. The East Slope is virgin territory for me. I camped once down at Mammoth. There are several camp grounds outside the park off 120. Saddlebag Lake sounds fun. Twin Lakes outside Bridgeport, seems more resort-ish, but a possible. Lundy Lake NW of Mono. Walker Lake west of the June Lake Loop. And the June Lake Loop has several camp grounds. There are a bunch of roads off of 89 that lead back to some old mining country. Open to suggestions.
I'll PM our east slope riders and see what they think.

My arm is wraped up like a frick'n gordita (ricky bobby) so no riding for me but you guys that do this ride are in for great weather over here. My food tip is the gas station at tioga 120 and 395. You may have already heard about it. Some kind of world class chief runs it. Awsome food.

I am out. My Tenere is not outfitted for travel and I am staying around for a backyard project (ongoing).
