atl rider luggage rack cubby bags

I found a couple of zippered bags on ebay; about 4x8x2 inches to use as tool bags in the alt rider luggage cubby. My real question is? has anyone made the rear spacers for the rack shorter to level out the rack so things like top cases sit level? I have a Plano All Weather Pistol Box mounted as top case which works well. Just wondering if anyone has leveled it up, and how does it look on the bike. If you got pics post up.

Brady (corrado113) of STORM custom bag fame over on ADVrider makes an trick litttle custom bag just for that cubby space under the AltRider rack. I've got one, and it secures with velcro straps to the lower spacer section of the rack mount, and then zippers open all across the back. I carry my BestRest Cycle Pump compressor in there. It fits perfect.

Well I leveled up the atlrider rack with some stainless washers to make the top box more square to the passenger seat. Easy fix, no cutting of the rear spacers required. Just put them under the front spacers. Also ordered up a bag from Brady yesterday.
