Looking for a Zumo 660 mount to go on the windshield bar, didn't know if anyone had any sources yet? Thanks! ::26::

I have a Garmin Montana mounted with the touratecch mount.
Used the forum to wire in a FZ1 Fuzeblock and I'm very happy with the results. Key on Gps on.
With the Fuzeblock installed any extra accessors are a breeze to add on.
Clean and simple.
The touratecch mount is lockable and I do notice minor vibration but it is easily readable at speed.
The dash is clear with the exception of the turn signal indicators. They are only slightly visible from my riding position.

I use a Garmin Zumo 390 LM. First i tried with the RAM mount which was given with the Zumo, but due to vibration it was coming down after a while and was making me crazy. Then i bought the Touratech mount , which solved that issue however i am still not satisfied because the GPS bar is part of the windshield unit and it is not coming from the main body frame of the bike (unlike GS) and that creates a free-vibration with the weight of the GPS device.

I like the look of the Base Plate II, looks like some nice kit. The Touratech is a little more complex than I'm wanting. I already have the Fuzeblock on order.

Howier..... Nice set up! Does adding that vertical brace to the Madstad Bracket remove the vibration and movement of your GPS? Is it mounted to the front holes of the Yamaha Wind Deflectors? Great looking bike ::012::

I did this to the 2012 also but i used the screws from the horizontal bar for top. Bottom I made hole in little lip next to intrsament cluster and ran a bolt and lock screw to back. It does help a lot with movement of the shield and gps. Wasn't tolerable before. Ok now.

Mounted a Zumo 350 with an SW Motech quick release mount and although it's solid, there are excess vibrations in the new Yamaha mounting system. I've checked all hardware for proper tightness yet the vibration remains. It's not unusable, but it is annoying and seems excessive when compared to what I've grown accustomed to over the years. It's also less rigid than on the 2012 given the same GPS and SW Motech mount.

Here's a pic and details of my setup. I'm happy with it.
BTW the speedometer on the 2014 is pretty accurate. Compared to my GPS, it's always within 2 MPH.
