Anyone cruising Yukon/Alaska August 11th=15th

I am going to do a run this weekend, leave Whitehorse Thursday after 5pm north to Tok and from there who knows either more north to Fairbanks and Dalton hwy or west Valdez or Anchorage and Kenai really wide open. Will be taking Top of the World over to Dawson to meet a friend late Sunday and back to Whitehorse Monday. Whitehorse crew or other S10's in the area let me know if you are up for some miles.

Sounds like you're gonna be a hard ridin' old boy, 'Dood. Being the old codger that I am, I'd never be able to keep up with you. A non-Tenere rider (I know .. I'm slumming) and I are planning a small sojourn to Keno at the end of the week.


Have fun and if you do Valdez and the ferry, watch out for that tunnel at Whittier. Jeeze. R

Wish I could make it as well!!!! The ferry from Valdez to Whittier and the tunnel is COOL!!! Nothing quite like riding a MC down the RR tracks (or at least between them)!!!

No kidding. I thought for sure I would have to change my underwear at the end of the tunnel. However, that proved to be unnecessary. A guy would have to do that a few times to get used to it. The tunnel I mean ....


I wanted to look around while in there but didn't dare take my eyes off the road ... uh, track. R

aaaahh, man... I would jump on this ride but I am out of town until the 18th. Valdez and or the Kenai would be my choice. Have a safe ride - stay vertical.

Rem- enjoy Keno, headed that way with the family (in the camper ) on the Sept long weekend- always nice.

Yup the tunnel raises the pucker factor on the 2 wheels.
