ACD Skidplate…..ummmmm

Okay, so just mounted this recommended skidplate..wtf? Did anyone else experience them not even come close to lining up/fitting at all? There was a 3’ gap between the rear of the plate where the mounts are and where they mount to?? Anyone ??? The mechanics had to literally bend the plate very badly to get it to line up…..it’s on now, looks okay, but they said it was a nightmare…..25 year bike mechanic said this…..Thoughts ??

3 inches! Is this a used plate? That is a big gap. Mine fit with minimal fuss. Would have liked to see a picture.. Glad it’s on now. Maybe bent during shipping, they are big.

Was the bottom attachment bracket installed correctly?
Are the bolts that attach the top/front of the ACD in the correct spot?

I'll assume that was supposed to be 3". I can't remember if it was an ACD or T-Rex, but someone else had problems mounting a plate. Maybe twisted in shipping? But as long as it's on now.

...until your next oil change. Your mechanics' methods just doesn't sound like good practice.
Agree on needing to see some pics. I'm just not visualizing the issue. I had no problems mounting my ACD.

Three foot wide gap! Damn, that was truly effed-up!
