Hello all,

I hope to pick up my bike by next weekend. From the dealer I have ordered only the tank pad and head light protector. I have also ordered 3M paint protector from Tankslapper.

Now here is what I am further thinking of
- MIVV oval carbon slip on ? anyone got any comments on this ? wanna check how it sounds compared to the stock muffler
MIVV
YAMAHA XT1200 Z SUPERTENERE' 2010 - MIVV OVAL CARBON CAP

The Remus almost makes the bike sound like a chopper!

For the engine guard what is the best option ? Looking at wasp's note on ADVrder seems Yammy engine guard is not good as it doesnt protects the fairing at all. Looking at SW Motech's engine guard in pics seems it can protect fairing but not the lower part of the bike. Any other better options ? Twisted throttle dont have SW Motech's engine guard in stock anyway

For skid plate I am thinking of going SW Motech

For toruing screen MRA Vario toruing screen

Never used a throttle lock and twisted throttle seems to be out of stick anyway

Don't worry about all that stuff, just send me your credit card info and your home address, then sit back and wait for the big brown truck to pull up many times. ::015::

Just make sure your credit limit is OK. ::025::

For engine guard, I went with Givi (from revzilla.com). For other bike protection and luggage rack, altrider. (I didn't care for the AltRider engine guard)

The MRA Vario touring screen is too short for me (6' with high seat position) and switched to a CalSci XL. That said, the MRA looks nicer and I use it for local/short trips.

I also added the front fender extender.

I've got one, glad to have it, don't want another, doesn't ring like a bell going down the road, rubber mounted, but the SWMotech skid pan bolts up to the same two tiny little tabs on the front belly of the engine that the factory one uses. The factory one that managed to break parts of the case off of some really abused bikes. So if your plans are to beat the crap out of your Tenere like some Aussies and S.Africans did, might want to research the mounting points a little more.

Thanks Greg, looks nice but quitely steeply priced compared to the mivv, almost double.

Wasp which engine guard and skid plate do you recommend ? How do you think of the alt rider ones ?
