Hi..............I'm from North Yorkshire and about to buy a new S10 ZE model.

I've had numerous bikes over the past 40 years and just wondered what people think of any necessary add-ons.

Got lots of tips already of this great site.

Cheers everyone..............

The best add on is fuel, ride it, lots! It is 'snatchy' but will loosen up @ 4-6k miles and smooth out, read up on the spokes and everything else is a farkle, more like than need.

As said, nothing is particularly essential.

If I bought another brand new one it would be the basics:

Screen (Givi Airflow)
Crash Bars (Mainly because of how unwieldy it is when being wheeled around the driveway)
Sump Guard (Even for road use, just to protect engine from crap getting on it / chipping the paint)
ECU Flash / Remap (Far from essential, but I like my fuelling perfect and not ruined by Mr Euro3/4)

necessary add-ons
midnight runner, I just started on my second Super Tenere, so my immediate farkles were:
skid plate, numerous choices, but you need something down there,
admore smt lightbar, more lights on the backend,
pia lp530 led driving lights, more lights on the front end, and
altrider ss mesh headlight guard, protect the glass...

this morning I ordered a new garmin zumo 660lm, double the screen of my old garmin unit with updated maps...

with a simple hello.....

If you are going to fit a sat nav to front bar, the side brackets will need some sort of extra support each side for rigidness to stop vibration.
There are many threads here in relation to it.

::004:: to the forum from Oklahoma! Farkles depend on the type of riding you plan on doing. Congrats and enjoy the new bike.

Welcome aboard.

As mentioned in your sign-on email, the search function is your friend, as your question has been gone over many times, as well as the most desirable vendors.

The answer will depend on how you are using the bike.
