I just back from 21 days n Newfoundland ..9 hour ferry trip each way from Nova Scotia. But what a beautiful island and BIG its the size of Germany. Door to door from my home in Maine covered 4,174 miles. Great people had roots from Ireland and Scotland warm and love to speak with Americans on motorcycles.

Woke up this morning and found that we were surrounded. We're the only bikes when we came back from the Irish pub.

One rider has had all the issues. You herd about his tire and valve stem. There was an issue where he swung wide in a blind turn. Still trying to figure it out. Never have I seen anything like it before. It was a blind turn. 40 to 50 mpg type. A turn that goes on un naturally long. I saw him go wide. Real wide. Had a vehicle been coming he would have been dead. Made me very fearful and concerned for him. This the tight zone part. Next thing I know it he is at about 3 o'clock cutting straight across the road. I was about to be hid from the side. I bled off a tremendous amount of speed. Letting him get over. It took way to long. He was moving at walking speed. Upon reflection I was at extreme risk. Had a car or anything been coming the could have driven him and his bike into me. Or they swerve and nail me or both of of. It was real event.

This same driver had a 4 xx long sleeve tee shirt pop out of his saddle bag. His bag had opened up. It was not secured properly. It was like a king size bed sheet heading right at me. Think a parachute deployed.
Yesterday his top case was slumped down the rear fender and bouncing 4 or 5 inches. We repaired it.

Had to replace a h7 headlight bulb at 38 K on a 2015 ES obtained in 2014. Not bad if that rate of consumption remains. 34 bucks for 2.

Things have settled down. That repair help unit us. We are past half way. We are all resolved to finish and enjoy. I will continue to hang back with a watchful eye. Mission one get home safe. Changed my oil and filter yesterday. Will hit CA today and see the RedWoods.
