A couple adds / mods

I removed the riser underneath the rear carrier and also left off the pillion seat to make for a flat touring gear platform. It took 10 minutes of Dremel work on carrier to make things fit.

Installed Motorrad Garage windscreen adjuster. Nice kit ! Also used my Touratech Garmin 276c mount to fasten to MG adjuster bracket. The position of the GPS is perfect for my likes.

Is it now strong enough to take a load? I must go and have a look at mine. You certainly can't use a topcase now can you?

Hmmmm, when Fred did the video a while back showing this mod, there was no mention of having to use a Dermel on any portion.

I was checking out the bug screen mount, I just sent an email to MADSTAD to see if they were going to design a mounting system. I have the on my 3 DL1000 and 2 XB12x. I love them and hey are light weight.

Simply get the one that Greg offers. GREAT mount - even better than the Madstad (IMHO)

I am very interested in the GPS mounting since I have a 478 and spare touratech brackets along with the Same windshield bracket, and was expecting to do the same thing


Do you have any shake or vibration on the gps and are you comfortable on the mounts ability to hold the TT mount and GPS ?
