I think it is normal to make adjustments to the bike to tailor it to our body. Nobody has the same size.
This is simple to do on a car with all the settings it has in it but not so easy to do with a bike. ($$$)
You're lucky if the bike fits you perfectly otherwise if it doesn't and you don't do anything, il's like soldering the seats on the car rails and tell to everybody it's made as is.
I guess many peoples will have problems to drive such a car.
I had over 30 bikes in my life and know what I like and what I can't accept. Choosing a bike model from another one is often a sum of compromises we can accept or not.
I had a Kaw Concours 1000, Hon St-1100, BMW R1150RT, R1200RT and they ALL had risers on handlebars because I had shoulders problems mainly during stop and go little rides.
