Note: This is one of many "STOC" (Honda ST Owners Club) events that are held in various places each year. This is NOT an "organized" event and we pride ourselves in keeping it that way. We arrange a host motel, suggest several sights to see and places to ride and the rest is up to the attendees. Ride wherever and with whoever you like. This is NOT a motorcycle brand or model specific event. Many will be Honda ST1100's and ST1300's, but that's only because of the Honda STOC roots. I personally have not ridden a Honda ST to one of the events in about 5 years! This year, based on our latest delivery info, I expect to ride my SuperT!!! If delivery is delayed, or I cannot get the bike "farkled" in time, I will ride my FJR.

Now - the Event!!!

"We are happy to announce the 2nd annual CoSTOC (Colorado ST Owners Club) gathering for 2011. This international event will be held in the beautiful city of Manitou Springs, http://www.manitousprings.org/ Colorado. This quaint little city is nestled at the base of Pikes Peak http://www.cograilway.com/and is just a few minutes from historic Colorado City http://www.shopoldcoloradocity.com/ and also Colorado Springs http://www.visitcos.com/. A nice 15 minute jaunt up Ute Pass will take you to Woodland Park and then on to numerous other fantastic roads and destinations."

The Dates for CoSTOC 2011 are Sept 8 through Sept 11, 2011 (three nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Farewells will be Sunday, Sept 11.

The event will be held at the new (2007) Comfort Inn in Manitou Springs.

This is a great facility and located right at the foot of the mountains and close to many great attractions and roads.

We have secured a great rate of $75.65 + tax for Double Queen units ($85.65 + tax for anyone that wants/needs a Single King unit). The initial block of rooms is for 18. As with our first CoSTOC, it's important for everyone to make their reservations early to insure we have the opportunity to expand our block of rooms, if needed.

Please call the motel direct at 1-800-289-5455 and mention "CoSTOC" to make sure you get our special rate. If you have a room preference (ground/2nd floor with mini balcony/mountain view) let them know when you make your reservation. We have dealt directly with the owner, and she has been wonderful to work with and I do not think you will have any problem with the reservation.

I hope to see many of you there!!!

I for one can vouch for the STOC gatherings that they are a gathering of sorts for those guys who want to meet people, but mainly want to tear up some mountain twisty curvy roads during the day and mingle at night!!! I have never met another group with a passion to ride motorcycles as these guys (and gals).
If I wasn't on board an Alaskan Cruise those days, I might as well attend this year.
Enjoy!!!
