Selling my 2013 Yamaha Super Tenere. I just got it this spring and have farkled it all out -but- I have come to the conclusion that I'll never really use it for what it's designed for and that it's kinda like driving a Hummer as a grocery getter... Kinda big, heavy and definitely overkill. I plan on getting a more pavement specific FJ-09 or perhaps a Tiger 800xR to replace it. I LOVE this bike -but- practicality has one out over cool factor and I want to sell it.
The bike is in absolutely pristine condition without a scratch -and- it is basically new with less than 800 miles on it. Here are all the farkles I've installed:
-- Yamaha OEM Side-cases (locks match ignition key) w/All mounting hardware ($1100)
-- Yamaha OEM Top-case (locks match ignition key) w/All mounting hardware ($400)
-- Yamaha Side case & Top case inner bags (1 each @ $60 so $120)
-- ACD full coverage Skidplate, Black (This thing is BURLY! - $490)
-- AltRrider Crash Bars, Black ($400)
-- National Cycles V-Sream Polycarbonate windshield, Tall ($160)
-- Yamaha Polycarbonate Wind Deflectors (made by National Cycles - $80)
-- Carbon Fiber Rear hugger (real cloth and epoxy matrix, NOT "printed" plastic - $190)
-- Carbon Fiber Front Fender Extender (real cloth and epoxy matrix, NOT "printed" plastic ($50)
-- CNC 2 finger "shorty" Clutch & Brake levers ($40)
-- Wunderlich Side-stand Foot - ($50)
-- CNC Mirror Wideners ($40)
-- RAM mount balls (3 total $50)
-- Custom Dash insert (made by an awesome Super Tenere Forum guy! - $30)
All of that adds up to $3,200. I have all original parts and they will all be sold with the bike. Please don't ask if I'll sell anything separately...
I'm asking $11,500 for the bike with everything and at this point, I am firm on the price, please no low-ball offers (if it doesn't sell in a month, the price will go down...).
Thanks for looking and PM me or email me directly @ loveridge(dot)james@gmail(dot)com -or- call/text (2one8) 3four9-7eight00 if you are interested!
Cheers,
James
