Pretty nice except for the final chain drive.

Strikes me as a bike more in the sport touring range, than the adventure range. Give it some lowers, and then it will definitely look like sport touring bike.

First off, I love Aprilia's. One of my favorite brands in the whole world, but...

The new Caponord is nothing but an Aprilia 1200 Dorsoduro with a fairing, big tank, and bags. It may even be more of a Ducati Hyperstrada competitor than one aimed at the Multistrada, since the Dorsoduro is aimed right at the Hypermotard. Be interesting to see how it fares in the marketplace. It's certainly doesn't look like the "adventure" bike the previous Caponord was.

I've been waiting to see this for awhile.
Very nice bike but, was hoping for a bit more off-road oriented.
It just looks like an Aprilia MultiStrada.

Wfopete,

Then you should get one. For the same EXACT reason you bought your S10.

And where have you been? You always liven up the joint. :)

I never rode an Aprilia. Wouldn't know where to find a dealer, but at first glance it looked like a Vstrom with a Versa's rear shock. Poor thing even has ADD (Aprilia Dynamic Damping) ::025:: ::025::

and what are these
  Speed density type electronic fuel injection with two throttle bodies and micronebulisation injectors

There seems to be a lot of technology in it and they claim it's very reliable. If I knew where to look, I should take one for a test drive. ::001::

Sorry, I've been busy trolling around other forums, looking to strike. There are so many misguided folks needing to be set straight.

I'll bet that Aprilia would make a fine commuter bike!

so why is this in the S10 thread still... it should be flicked over to the "other bikes" in the general forum...
