1973 TR5MX Triumph

Just picked up a 1973 Triumph TR5MX 500 cc single cylinder dirt bike last weekend. Still has the original Dunlop knobbies on it as delivered, although a bit rotten. Makes the S10 seem absolutely civilized by comparison. Very little work needed to bring it back to life, I hope! Then I will just have to find a place to unleash it without going to jail.

Those mufflers are actually pretty scarce items and are rust free. Don't look near as goofy since I put them back on the way they belong.... My neighbor will appreciate mufflers when I am tilling my back yard with it!

Extremely cool. Hope it is solid-enough to put some miles on. I'm not a fan of the mufflers either, but I guess they're correct for the bike and they look a lot better if you get them mounted so they don't splay out. Have fun.
