Hi,

I've done a search but it hasn't returned much so here goes..

The stock bulbs seems bit dim.. Is there an issue with replacing the stock H7 bulbs with 100w items..

Or should I stick with the 55w items and go for Osram night breakers.. Or Equivalent.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Another vote here for those Osram 65w lamps, they are what I use. As mentioned, 100w lamps will pull far too much power for your wiring to be happy.

Thanks for the repllies..

I already have the stock aux lights.. But living where I do and leading a ride out the other night I found the lights a struggle.. So looking to improve them or fit a second set of aux lights..

Have ordered a set of Osram night breakers at 55w and see how they improve things..

i used the night breakers, they both died within 6 months. These "brighter" 55W lights work by using a very small filament to create a more tightly focused point of light. Unfortunately, small filaments are inherently weak and dont like vibration.

The 65W lamp is designed for rallying and off road use and has a substantial filament and carrier assembly, making it more robust.

I've had the Osram Nightbreakers in my Tiger since new and that was two years ago.. no issues..

I've ordered the 65w bulbs so will see what their like..
