bark buster

Hay all: My problem: Almost every fall for me involves a broken bark-buster and/or clutch/brake lever. I've got the plastic ones which (I believe) come standard but have seen some which look sturdier (ie: aluminum construction). My question: what do y'all recommend for STURDY bark-busters...
