    Adjustment at First Valve Check

What are folks paying for dealer maintenance? I'm trying to decide if this is something I can do with the manual or something I should bring to the shop. The cost will determine how much effort I will take to learn a new skill. Thanks,

    New guy from New England

welcome aboard, I'm in western/central MA (according to Bostonians) and I just got back from an Alaska trip. Bike worked flawlessly. Still writing up the trip reports. Ask all the questions you want. There is a way to make it all work on this bike, but you don't have to change much to make it a...

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

Thanks holligl, the route i followed was from the famous Ron Ayres and detailed in his book "Against the Clock"https://www.amazon.com/Against-Clock-incredible-story-49/dp/1884313191" It was very efficient and started on the east coast. There are so many options and I chose it because it was...

where did you TAKE your Tenere today?

49 states in 10 days, then 3800 miles to home through Canada. Miles total 13227 in 14 days and a morning. I saw amazing sights, and met some great people along the way. Plenty of stories. I decided to head for home instead of finishing the Labrador and PEI loop for all Provinces as well. I...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Last night, I replaced the front tire according to the excellent work from Twisties "Front Wheel Removal and Replacement Pictorial (Read 22186 times)" ::003:: I found that I didn't have the 19mm hex driver to get the axle off so I asked my son to weld me a 1/2 in bolt, head and nut size 3/4"...

Rear Wheel Removal and Replacement Pictorial

Used this last night. Thanks great write up. ;D I need to double check my work and the only step I can't be sure of is sensor hub alignment. When assembling, the speed sensor hub has a notch to align with caliber housing. Nice picture, but i failed to note proper alignment before removal...

Did a SS2000 this weekend MA to GA and back. Testing out new LEDRider lamp and some quick fuel stop technique. Didn't know I came within 10 miles of the dragon, next time because heck it's only a days ride away now. Oh yea and Tour of Honor stop at GA1 site Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

On long trips...how do you stay cool.

Ice ice baby! Miracool vest has that expanding gel inside. And uses evaporative cooling principles. Look, it's gonna be hot, you are going to be wet so why not start with cold clean wet? I have 2 miracool vests and keep them in my small ice chest. Morning routine is to fill my cooler vest, ice...

OEM grip heaters fro 2015 model

Love my OEM on my 15 non es, my three settings are 4/7/10 and in the high 30'F temps I keep cycling between 2-3, three does get too hot to hold barehanded. Highway speed does matter but not for my palms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: MotoJug Hydration System (20% Discount) Her "anotherbiker", I use a small cooler with bladder on the rear seat that I also keep my summer cool vest. To control my hose, I keep a magnet either in my tank bag pocket or jacket pocket and badge holder clip on the tube end. All I do is scoop...
