Now I come to think of it, I do the same thing myself here in Germany, must be an ST thing though because my mates on BMW GS´s dont do it, they just stick their legs out.

"Heh, nice BMW, which model?" seems to be the question I get asked a lot. "Nope, Yamaha not BMW" is usually my answer. To which normally follows "why you not buy the BMW?" My answer "I wanted to be different and have something that would be reliable".

I got mine done in Winter, Matt Black, looks really good and the coating is very hard. All in all I had 4 pieces of the Bike coated and paid 40 Euros for the lot, the skid plate got coated twice to increase the coatings strength.

Re: Speedometer Accuracy? 5% to 10% seems to be about right, I havent heard of it being higher.
