    Dealer/Indie With Valve Adjustment Experience?

Hi. The valves clearances are due to be checked for the first time and I'm handing the job over to a dealer. Giving any job to a dealer is a pretty rare step for me as I'm of the mind that the only way make sure the jobs done right is to do it yourself. However, in this case, it might be the...

Prospective New ST Owner....what are your biggest beefs about your 2014+ ST?

The position of the headlight passing/flashing switch - just badly positioned. It should really be were the menu switch is.

    Final Drive Removal - Difficult!

Now that wasn't easy. :-[ Detached the final drive from the swingarm to find [as suspected], that one of the final drive retaining studs was corroded and stuck fast in the swingarm. Using the bracket supplied with the Power Bronze hugger left the counterbore were the nut would normally sit as...

    Final Drive Removal - Difficult!

Thanks for that but it's been tried with no effect at all. The final drive is just as firmly attached to the swing arm whether the 4 dome nuts are tight or not.

    Final Drive Removal - Difficult!

Chaps. To cut to the chase - I'm trying to remove the final drive. The 4 dome nuts are removed but still the final drive is tight on the swingarm and I do mean tight. Is there anything I've missed? Ive search threads and an online manual but everything indicates the final drive should simply...

What you did to your Tenere today??!!

Replaced all the brake pads with Brembo Red in an attempt to up the stopping power. Lever effort doesn't seem to produce corresponding braking, imo. I think the oe pads are designed for both longevity and to reduce dust rather than stopping power. I'd guess the pads I removed were good for 30k...

    Error Code 012

Very observant Dogdaze! Yes, I believe it is an 8 Ball special commissioned by Fowlers. One of four I think.

    Error Code 012

Just in case anyone else needs the info in the future........... Even though a 012 [crankshaft position sensor], error code was displayed the problem was the terminal on the wire which goes to the starter from the starter relay which was slightly loose. You can see some burning around the bolt...

Out With The Old - In With The New.

.........and in with the new! Just had a quick 20min ride and all seemed good. Some reservations about the Arrow [full system] exhaust - imo, a bit to much 'bark' and a little too load. Still, early days yet, I'll see how it goes. It came with the usual Altrider farkles and I've yet to buy...

Out With The Old - In With The New.

Thanks for the welcome chaps. As for the paint work, yes I believe it is one of the bikes Fowlers had sprayed by 8 Ball. Is that a good thing? NeoCon.

Out With The Old - In With The New.

Good Evening & Hello Everyone! Just a quick intro from a short time lurker here in the UK. Should everything go as planned tomorrow my BMW K1600 will be swapped for a 2014 S10. So, it's back to adventure bikes and a 'previously enjoyed' 2014 S10 with 850 miles on the clock. I say back to...
