    TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems

My wife got me the Rupse TPMS system for christmas. The Rupse uses the sensors on the valve stem. I've only ridden with it a handful of times but so far I've been happy with it. It takes a few minutes for the sensors to connect when I'm riding but once connected they seem to be accurate and as...

    recommendations for skid plate

I originally had a SW Motech which took a pretty good hit and got bent, The SW Motech did its job but I chose to replace it with an ACD. I can say that the ACD gives much better protection.

12mm studs for skid plate - WHERE TO FIND?

Cal Ranch has them if you have those where you live. In fact I've found Cal Ranch pretty much has the best stock for metric hardware.

    Erradic Oil Level

I've found that bottles of oil do not have exactly the amount of oil shown on the label IE 1L bottle might actually be 1.3L. So if you're filling the bike from the bottle its possible you're not putting in the amount of oil you think you are. On my 2012 Tenere I had the same issue with oil level...

To ES or not to ES

I had a 2012 and sold it to buy a 2016 ES. I mainly wanted the OEM heated grips, cruise, and ES. I thought I would use the cruise more than I actually do but that being said I havent done any long highway miles yet so when that day comes I'm sure I'll be happy the cruise is there. I really like...

    Tenere at local dealer

My local dealer let me ride my ST before buying, he just asked that I not take it too far if, while riding, I decided I didnt want to buy it. I know this same dealer let my two buddies take a brand new FZ10 on a test ride even though both of them had no intention of buying it. That being said...

To ES or not to ES

To ES or not? It depends. I had a 2012 non-es and now have a 2016 ES. I regularly ride both with and without a passenger and both with and without luggage for these reasons the ES is worth it. With the non-es I had set it up pretty stiff as if there was a passenger and luggage and just left it...

SW Motech Skid plate damage. Is it finished?

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I'll try to work out the dent little bit but I like RCinNC's thoughts about not reinforcing it which would transfer energy from a future hit to the mounting locations. Thanks for the props snakebitten it is kind of like having a scar I can show off to my...

SW Motech Skid plate damage. Is it finished?

While testing my, and the bikes, limits yesterday I ran over a rock that flipped and pushed up into my SW-Motech skid plate. It felt like the center stand had been pulled down and the entire bike was lifting. After descending the hill to a safe spot I checked out the damage and was very relieved...

    GPR stabilizer

Very cool. I've been thinking about getting one of these so I will be interested to read your thoughts on it. My hope is that it will help maintain control when riding in the loose/deep gravel on fire roads.

...probably been posted before ..question on help with slight back tightness

I get some tightness in the back when riding long distances also. Something I do to relieve the tension and stretch my back is rest one of my feet up on top of my crash bar, this stretches out the lower back. I'm 6' with about 32" inseam and the Givi crash bars are just the right height for...

    Is this true?

I'm on my second ST moving from a 2012 to 2016 ES. There are times that I long for the excitement of my old GSXR but then I take an off ramp and head to a fireroad. Riding this bike offroad always puts a smile on my face. I love all the torque down low for slow hill climbs without drama and the...

HELP - Can't install the PL2119CAM support for the Trekker Outback cases

I also have a 2016 ST ES and I have the GIVI PL2119CAM rack installed on it. In your video you are correct that the brace mounts to the hole directly behind the passenger peg. The bolt used I believe came with the kit and is about 23MM long. I'll upload some photos to help.
