Where are everyone going this year - 2022.

Early June went to Barcalona for MotoGP, Brittany Ferries doing the bulk of the trip. Late August ManxGP. Another trip on Brittany Ferries late September for a trip zig zagging along the Pyrenees on/off road with a group from SWW TRF. Hmmm now what tyres for that one haha.

What tyres does your S10 wear?

First run out on the T-32s today. First impressions are that they are very good with lots of grip. Off to Spain next week, MotoGP and a quick run around the Spanish Pyrenees to test the tyres!

    Two S10s

Out again yesterday, went up to Devils Bridge again and met up with another S10. In fact met the same bike twice. On leaving Devils Bridge I went down the Elan Valley and then onto Llandovery and popped into the Owls Nest for lunch. The other S10 had gone to Llandovery via Aberystwyth and Lampeter.

Contis has gone down hill lately. If its just for coffee then Minds Eye is good but for food Grandmas is our favourite.

Do you use a tank bag ?

Givi tank ring thingy, second bike with it on. I have 2 tank bags, a small semi rigid one that will take my wallet, phone, and a few odds and sods. As well as a much larger one that's used for longer trips. Both have withstood torrential rain but only with the covers fitted. Have tested the...

Do you wear a 'flip up type' modular helmet ? What brand ?

Bought a MT Flux as a temporary helmet (only £90) whilst my usual helmet was in a container crossing the Atlantic. Very comfy so bought with me and still using it ,or will if we ever finish with this winter.

Givi V35 and S10...a possible marriage???

I had them on my Versys 1000, sold them with the bike on leaving the UK. How have S10 and was thinking the same thing but it seems Givi don't do a rack to fit them. Will watch as the V35's are a lot cheaper than the others.

    Help for International Trips

As a Brit who has travelled widely in western Europe I can offer some tips. We use logishotels.com, they have a good range of small hotels and have motorcycle friendly ones (logis de moto). In France use the RNs, but don't expect to cover the ground as quick. In Italy the national roads really...
