    Is the GS1250 the reason?

Economy vs Business/First class is not really accurate in my case. The riding position for me was exactly the same and I measured the distance between the handlebar and the seat, the seat and the footpegs and they were identical safe of 1/4 of an inch...furthermore, the analogy is also no...

    Is the GS1250 the reason?

An update since then....my 2013 S10 is still in the garage since 2014...everytime I try to remember my trips, I get the memories about the remote places I went to...I don't even think about how the bike performed or which brand I was riding...but more of the places and people I met in trips that...

    Bike Show - UK

Yamaha staff seem to have been on a long leave or something....none of them even tried to suggest the idea that they need a piece of the action for large displacement adventure bikes...they stopped the S10 and closed that chapter.... Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

    R1300GS...the what how why

there is no bad talk here and I guess judging a bike brand by the boots that they sell (which is made by another company but they just add BMW logo) might not be relevant

    R1300GS...the what how why

I meant this one...putting it this way makes it easier to break during an offroad ride...and if you have to return back home it is illegal to ride without the front turn signal lights (depending on each country I guess)

    R1300GS...the what how why

What about the turn light on the rear mirror...the first tip over takes you straight to the dealer for a replacement that costs 1000000 usd after discount....and to install an aftermarket one it needs integration with ECU Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

    R1300GS...the what how why

When everyone was riding horses and the first car showed up, they said horses are slow, you have to clean after them, not very comfortable etc and horse riding is a dying thing....centuries later, cars are everywhere and horse riding is considered as a prestige done by few.. so we will see down...

You're selling your bike, you're moving on, what NEXT ?

In their product presentation they said that they reduced the complications...Well then I guess it is relative... Note also that the gas tank has bee reduced down to 5 gallon...the entire frame and engine have been redesigned so if you want to get one I would suggest to wait for the 3rd or 4th...

BMW issues stop sale for all internal combustion motorcycles in the US!

This is the only explanation for a stop sell while stating that the existing owners can continue using their bikes with no issue... Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

    R1300GS...the what how why

When you identify as a certain engine configuration (boxer) and you want to reduce the overall weight, increase power solely through increase engine size...you end up with a weird design where the engine seems oversized compared to the bike's, big question about tank size and the true fit of...

You're selling your bike, you're moving on, what NEXT ?

Could be indeed. But the same people around me here say that AT feels heavier due to its high center of gravity despite being lighter than S10... it is certainly subjectif but I agree that pounds for pounds AT is lighter and 40kgs is not negligeable Sent from my SM-G986B using Tapatalk

what are the other issues? I liked the adjustability of different aspects like suspension, ABS, TC etc....it is not like a beemer that dictate each riding mode on you as if you are in a group tourists guided by a sherpa... I would expect that AT electronics be ok in terms of reliability but...

You're selling your bike, you're moving on, what NEXT ?

the only advantage of AT on offroad is the 21 front wheel and the chain with reduces the weight a little bit...otherwise no comparable advantage offroad...and by the time you get used to the s10 offroad these limitations start to fade away
