::026:: I'll just chime in as another owner with a loud valve train. The bike has been noisy since the beginning and even after oil service. I have considered having it checked but so far, I've not done so.

OK... I've searched the forum and I don't see a specific discussion... I used to have an FJR (very similar drive shaft design to the Super Ten.) I thought that my FJR shop manual called for Moly grease on the drive shaft splines. (Don't have the manual any longer) But, the Super Tenere shop...
