    final drive shaft backlash adjustment?

I have about 5000 miles on my ST and it seems like my bike has what I would consider to be excessive backlash in the final drive, causing some lunging when on the gas gently and going either down hill or flat ground. (Not when going up hill or under heavy throttle as there is constant pressure...

    Which WA State Dealer

I've bought my last two bikes at Tacoma motor sports. Erik had been there for 16 years which is unusual for a sales person. He has always given me a fair price. Carroll in parts is AMAZING if you need anything she will find it. I highly recommend TMS

    lowering links?

Thanks to a kind member that pm'd me with dimensions I was able to make some brackets today. After I try them out and see if they let my little legs reach the ground I'm going to have a buddy powder coat them to match the bike. I may even engrave something on them to make them look cool. thanks...

    lowering links?

I'd like to make my own lowering links, I'm a tool and die maker by trade so i'm confident that I can make them plenty safe and significantly cheaper than purchased links (plus I love making stuff) . I am just curious about the overall length. Can someone out there get a quick measurement of...
