    2014 Pannier Racks 18mm tubing

So as the title says I am trying to find an 18mm tubing pannier rack for a 14 ES. Touratech's isn't available for the 14, Metal Mule is $600 and long lead time. I have some luggage to test that needs this style mooting frame. Any help is greatly appreciated.

2014 Super Tenere - Is ECU flash mod still recommended?

All of the above. If you don't have modifications that's fine as well it still removes the low speed fuel restrictions etc. It is worth it on the 2014. I had mine worked on by ECUnleashed for an upcoming article and the bike performs like it should. I have since added a mid pipe, and a PCV with...

2014 OEM mirrors any good ?

The stock 14 mirrors are horrible. They look really nice but they aren't very good for seeing behind you. The 13 and older mirrors are uglier but useful.

    RideApart builds a Super Tenere

Definitely meant choked and not chocked. I'll see if I can get that fixed. I definitely think you picked correctly as well. The Stelvio is a neat bike and different. I was hesitant because of support and I hate back ordered parts from niche manufacturers.

    RideApart builds a Super Tenere

Not nit picky at all. I totally appreciate the insight. Unlike a lot of writers or magazine types I don't mind being corrected or enlightened. I actually want people to add their knowledge. That was a pretty awesome video and a testament to doe very nice design. My Tiger Explorer tipped...

    RideApart builds a Super Tenere

Thanks for that point. It was my first introduction to the setup on the Tenere and I thought the programming change was larger than it was. I was also considering the addition of cruise control to the system. Glad you enjoyed the write up!

    RideApart builds a Super Tenere

The first article is here http://rideapart.com/2014/07/welcome-home-2014-yamaha-tenere-es/ It's just a welcoming home for the Tenere and initial impressions. In the next couple days will be the first couple thousand mile review and a lead in to some upgrades. Watch here and on RideApart.com...

Altrider skidplate on '14: something to watch out for

Anyone install a full aftermarket exhaust on the 14 with the Alt Rider plate? I would assume that fitment would then be identical to the 13 models.

    Hello from Maryland.

Thanks. Writing the first initial impressions piece already. Coming off of the Tiger Explorer I expected to be underwhelmed by the motor but I am not. Without giving too much away I can't believe how much lighter the Tenere feels over the Explorer for supposedly being very close in terms of...
