    Redvez or Lone Rider

I’ve been looking at those as they’re a good price and very similar design. Glad to hear it’s a good quality tent and you’re happy with it. Thank you

    Redvez or Lone Rider

Anyone used a Redvez Atacama or Lone Rider Moto tent? I’m based in the UK so it’s often wet & windy all year around. I currently use a Vaude ultralight, it’s a great tent, light, erects in minutes fits easily in my top box along with my sleep mat (Thermarest) and sleeping quilt. The only issue I...

Also as a foot note, the Madstad gen 1 screen and brackets will only work on a gen 2 if you use a gen 1 screen, the Madstad gen 2 screen won’t fit as the holes won’t line up.

Good morning all, I’ve only been on here a month or so as I’ve recently purchased my first S10. Everyone have been super helpful whenever I’ve asked the typical newbie questions. However, an extra special thank you has to go out to forum member “Bimota”. Rob has gone well above and beyond what...

    Madstad Screen

Haha, no worries Rob I had a look at the Madstad website last night and couldn’t see any obvious differences between the two. But you’ve solved that puzzle thankfully so it all makes sense now. I’ve just messaged Rob so hopefully I’ll get my hands on it soon. Cheers Dai

    Madstad Screen

You’ve gotta be on commission with Rob mate! Seriously though, thank you I’ll get the deal done with Rob asap. I was happy with your original advice but Rob put doubts in my mind when he said he didn’t think it would fit. It’s not a cheap screen even 2nd hand so needed to be 100% and as you...

    Madstad Screen

I know Rob, but you’ve gotta ask. May well buy Robs off him, he’s measuring the bracket holes for me as he doesn’t think it’ll fit my bike. I’ve emailed Madstad too. What you’ve said about fitment makes sense but I don’t want to make an expensive mistake and it threw me when Rob said he didn’t...

    Screen for Gen 2

That’s great, pretty much my height. Is it a big difference over the standard Yamaha screen with regards wind buffering?

    Screen for Gen 2

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I did actually read an earlier post from yourself. Ideally I don’t want to lose the Sat nav bar so was hoping there’d be an alternative. I find the stock screen works best for me around half an inch up from the bottom setting, i still get the wind blast but not as bad.

    Screen for Gen 2

Hi all, I did my first proper ride on my gen 2 S10 yesterday and despite multiple stops to adjust the stock screen I was getting bad wind buffering at shoulder & head height. I’m 5ft 10”. I’ve looked at numerous posts here and most solutions appear to based on products from the American market...

    Which one to go for?

Hi Rob, Yes, the ride home was great, had brand new tyres on so had to be a little careful. Looking forward to getting to know it over the next few weeks. Very comfortable and plenty of torque, it’s gonna make a great tourer.
