If the weathers something like on Saturday 28 March I'm up for a CMC run, my next available Saturday will be 25 April. Why do work and holidays always get in the way of bike fun?

They've forecast minus 5 overnight in the hills tonight guys so extra careful in the morning if you're coming over to the CMC gathering. I'll probably get there just before 11am so I can have a quick browse and a cuppa char!

How about local(ish) meets to start with, ie North, Central & South. This would make it easier on the guys from Scotland and Cornwall? Better still, make the meets a weekender so that you can stop over on Friday/Saturday with a decent 'ride out' on the saturday (100-200mls) of the area you are...

I've gone and done the dirty deed and it looks like I may have been lucky as Ian at Motad reckons it was the last one! Like yourselves, I'm just after a bit more noise and am not really interested in any power gains.
