The seals leaked on BOTH bags. I can only speak to my experiences with these on my GS. The leaking seals seemed to be a reoccurring complaint on the GS forums. By all means, if you like them, buy them. For what they charged me and what I got....then my first trip with wet gear from leaking...

The V2's are a smaller version of the Micatech bags. One of the reasons I didn't buy Micatech Pilots for the GS was the size. When they came out with the V2's there were exactly what I was looking for. From the web site" V2 side case sized at 37L (8”) and 45L (10”) Dimensions are: L=18"...

Elkins is just down the road from where I live...maybe 50 miles, so that is easy to check out. They also did one around Davis which is further south. Keep the suggestions flowing. I have a topo Gazette of WVa so it wont be difficult to provide some route guides if we meet down there.

Check out Spruce Knob.....some dirt roads leading down the back side of the mountain. If we end up in WVa, I'd guess we would be near there. Black Water Falls is a great place to camp and its an easy ride to Spruce Knob and over to Seneca Rocks.

My intent was to get something rolling for the East Coast of the US. What we need is to get one set up in the mid west and west coast. Some one local needs to be able to work out the logistics. I'd be happy to ride westward! If someone wants to take it on, we need to coordinate dates.

I posted a poll on where we would like to look at conducting this. I know we have time till the Bikes are delivered, but I want to do a map recon and conduct physical recon rides of the areas in regard to camping/riding and related activities. At some point, I will throw some dates out to see...
