    Extended brake and clutch lines

Yes, Jaxon, I got the brake line on myself (mechanic chickened out because of flare nut tightness). I was able to jimmy the clutch line forward an inch, so I did not change that one. Got the handlebars where I want them and returned the mirrors to their full outside position. I'll save the...

    Extended brake and clutch lines

Good point, Z06. I liked the 12-point wrench because of the swiveling ends, but for the truly stubborn nut, the more snug 6-sided wrench would be better. Also, it looks like there are several threads on this, because Jaxon already posted a photo of the correct tools in a separate thread back...

    Extended brake and clutch lines

Good advice that I got today and sorely needed, because it had not occured to me and seemed blatantly obvious once it was told to me... ??? Make sure that you use a "flare nut wrench" on your "flare nuts" (junction of soft line and hard line). Do not use a regular open-end wrench, because...

Hey, Jack, the OEM cases were a separate accessory, and they were backordered when I bought the bike. Took about 1 week to come in from California, within assistance from the Regional Yamaha Rep. I do love the cases...they are roomy, solid and waterproof. I've been judiciously applying...

Got a few more accessories installed! Lovin' the AltRider crash bars and Nat'l Cycle VStream windshield. Went with the PIAA driving lights and OEM side cases. Ordered WaspWorks silver decal kit from Greg...can't wait to see how that looks!

    National Cycle V-Stream windshield

Sorry about the grainy picture, but below photo shows VStream touring screen #N20306 installed. I'm 5'11" and the top of the screen is about 1" above eye level. I have the seat in the low position and I have done the seat 4-bumper mod. I've got about 100 miles on this screen now, mostly...

    National Cycle V-Stream windshield

My touring VStream (#N20306) just came in. It's about 8" taller than OEM short screen. I'll install it this afternoon and go for a nice long ride and report my findings. Here's a picture:

Airscrew Adjustment to fix off-idle stumble and Throttle Body Sync - w/ pigtails

Okay, I apologize 'cause this thread is 17 pages long and this question may have come up already. I've done the 270-degree airscrew adjustment and saw some improvement. I've completed the Diag/CO change to +6 on each cyclinder and saw even more marked improvement. Question is this: Is it...

Thanks, everybody. I'm loving the SuperT. Most of my add-ons will be here this week (he says with fingers crossed). Torque, I live in Gardendale and work in Cullman. Let me know of any weekend rides between Birmingham and Huntsville, and I'll do the same. You ever been to Faunsdale rally...

[smg id=937] Hello, everyone. Just picked mine up yesterday in Decatur, Alabama. Already have 135 miles. Lots of people telling me how sharp it looks. Beats the hell outta riding cruisers. Already ordered Rox risers, National Cycle VStream tall clear windshield, and AltRider crash bars...
