Great price and great looks, and you got one more customer for sure. Email/PM me when you get going. Any way to make them hefty enough to act as baffles for the wind that shoots up there at my face would be a blessing too. :) Oh, and it would have to work with / attach to crash bars up there...

After getting T-boned by a cage last year and having the OEM crash bars totalled on the tenere, I wanted to add a little beefier bars to the beast... looked all over, including for advice here. Not to be an ass, but YOU might be the best place to get rid of a bit of weight! :) Over the past year or two, with just a few small changes, I lost maybe 30 lbs, down to 170 (I'm 6'1). Maybe 40 pounds actually. That kind of weight is really noticeable on a bike, even one as beefy as the yammie.

I had a relatively slow speed stack in October; a car T-boned me and shoved me off the road. We were both going about 30 mph max. The boxes both survived perfectly well, it was their attachment points that broke off and cannot be replaced. The top case survived fine and is on the bike right now...
