Thanks Rob , had feeling it was an aftermarket fitment.
still have no idea what its for, I have tried in both settings but never felt anything out of the ordinary

my recently purchased a 2012 Tenere and on the left side of the handle bars I have a switch that says MAP1 and MAP2, I cant find any info for this function ,can anyone shed some light
