    After careful consideration of my question (for 45 seconds), I've figured out that, yes, I will need the reverse thread adaptor for the right side and extension for the left side so they're nice and even. Sometimes you just have the ask the stupid questions so you can get to the obvious answer...

    Super helpful information, Jdubco...Thank you! I plan on taking your advise and getting the Brcovan ball mounts then piecing the rest together from the Doubletake website. Just want to confirm I'll need the reverse thread adapter (and extension for the other side) no matter what? Thanks

    Installed a Nomadic rear rack in the low position. I wasn't necessary unhappy with the stock rack, but this one is well made, looks beefy, and allows me to position the rack in the low position with the rear grab rails on: Nomadic Rear Rack

    Agreed! Was a little hesitant to spend the money but happy I did. Very happy with the 7 sec. delay to get the bike running and how efficiently it organizes and powers all the electronics. Forgot to mention I added a power supply for my tank bag as well. Now I can charge my old man CPAP...
